Website Privacy Policy
This policy explains information practices for the public AspireMed website. It is separate from the HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which governs protected health information maintained by the medical practice.
Information you choose to provide
When production scheduling is activated, patients may provide contact information, appointment preferences, insurance preference, and other information through an approved secure workflow. Do not submit symptoms, diagnoses, photographs, medical records, payment-card information, or other sensitive health information through a general website contact form.
Technical information
The hosting service may process routine technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as IP address, browser type, request time, and security logs. Accessibility preferences are stored only in your browser on your device.
How information is used
- To respond to appointment and contact requests.
- To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the website.
- To verify availability, fees, insurance participation, and eligibility when requested.
- To meet legal, regulatory, safety, and recordkeeping obligations.
Vendors and tracking technologies
AspireMed uses Google Analytics on public informational pages to measure general website activity and generic interactions. Analytics is not used on patient-portal or telehealth workflows, and AspireMed does not intentionally transmit symptoms, appointment details, medical records, or other protected health information through analytics events.
AspireMed will not sell patient information. Any vendor that creates, receives, maintains, or transmits protected health information on behalf of AspireMed must be reviewed for HIPAA requirements and, when required, enter into an appropriate Business Associate Agreement. Advertising pixels and non-approved tracking technologies will not be placed on appointment, patient-portal, or telehealth workflows.
Security and retention
Production appointment and patient communications will be routed through approved secure systems. No Internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure, and this public website should not be used for urgent or confidential medical communication.
Your choices
You may use telephone assistance instead of the website, decline nonessential cookies if later introduced, and request information about website privacy practices. Marketing text messages require separate consent when applicable.
Children and emergencies
This website is intended for adults age 18 and older. It is not designed to collect information directly from children. For a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
