Can I request a same-day online doctor appointment?
Yes. AspireMed accepts same-day requests, subject to physician availability and clinical suitability. A request is not confirmed until the office contacts you.
What can be treated through telehealth?
Appropriate concerns may include common illnesses, medication or laboratory review, diabetes, high blood pressure, kidney-health follow-up, thyroid concerns, weight management, preventive care, mental-health screening, and selected second opinions. Some conditions require examination, testing, urgent care, or emergency evaluation.
What kidney concerns can begin with a telehealth consultation?
Telehealth may be appropriate for chronic kidney disease follow-up, abnormal creatinine or eGFR results, protein in the urine, difficult-to-control blood pressure, fluid-balance or swelling concerns, electrolyte abnormalities, medication questions, dialysis education, and selected kidney-related second opinions. Some concerns require laboratory testing, an examination, urgent care, or emergency evaluation.
Do you accept insurance?
AspireMed is currently in-network with Medicare, Medicaid, Aetna, and Cigna, subject to specific product and network verification. If your plan is not listed, contact us to check eligibility and out-of-network benefits before booking. Self-pay care is also available.
Do you offer mental-health screening and support?
Internal Medicine visits may include initial screening for anxiety, depression, stress, and sleep concerns, review of established treatment, and referral to therapy or psychiatry when appropriate. AspireMed is not a psychiatric emergency service. Call or text 988 for a crisis or call 911 for immediate danger.
What symptoms require emergency care?
Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department for chest pain, severe breathing difficulty, stroke symptoms, fainting, uncontrolled bleeding, severe allergic reaction, or another potentially life-threatening concern.
