What kidney concerns can begin with a telehealth consultation?
Appropriate concerns may include chronic kidney disease follow-up, abnormal creatinine or eGFR results, protein in the urine, difficult blood pressure, electrolyte problems, medication questions, dialysis education, and selected second opinions.
What should I prepare for a kidney consultation?
Have recent blood and urine results, a medication and supplement list, home blood-pressure readings, relevant hospital or specialist records, and kidney imaging reports when available. The office will provide secure instructions for records.
When is an in-person visit needed?
An examination, testing, procedure, urgent care, or emergency evaluation may be necessary when virtual care is not sufficient. In-person visits may be requested at the Tamarac office.
